Facebook Conversions API
If you use Facebook pixels to track your ads, you might know that the data provided has become increasingly inaccurate (due to things like ad blockers and Apple iOS 14 update). Instead of using a pixel, you could also set up a Workflow to notify Facebook of the conversion event. The will improve the accuracy of the data. Facebook will then receive that information and include it within its reporting.
SET UP THE CONVERSION API EVENTS
1. In Facebook business manager, click on your business. Click on the Settings tab, scroll down to Conversions API and click Get Started.
2. Work through the wizard and select all the types of events you want to send through the conversions API.
3. In the Event Details Parameters, select Event Source URL. In Customer Information Parameters, select the information that you want to send from SuperCoach CRM back to Facebook for that event - this is likely to be Client IP Address, Email, Click ID, Browser ID, First Name, and Last Name.
4. Repeat step 3 for each of the events selected. Once completed, press Continue.
5. On the Review Setup page, click Confirm. On the See Instructions page, click Finish.
