Do It Yourself Instructions

If you have either missed the deadline for a project request or just want to set up your own project, here are the initial steps to follow. Once you have completed these steps, then refer to the editing instructions on the funnel request page for the next steps.

Cloning the Funnel

CLONE THE FUNNEL

Before you being editing a funnel, you need to clone it.

1. Go to Sites > Funnels, and find the funnel template you want to use.

2. Click on the vertical ellipsis menu (three dots) and select Clone.

3. Enter a funnel name and select your location. Press Clone Funnel.

4. Once the funnel has been been created, click on the vertical ellipsis menu (three dots) and select Move to Folder. Choose either a folder from the drop down menu or click on Move to Root Folder to move the funnel to the main funnel page.

Funnel Settings

ADD YOUR FAVICON

In the Settings tab, type the custom values for your favicon into the Favicon URL box (see image). Press Save when finished.

ADD YOUR CHAT WIDGET

In the Settings tab, toggle on Enable Chat Widget. Press Save when finished.

FACEBOOK AD

If you are running a Facebook ad and want to add a Meta pixel, you can paste this into the Head Tracking Code box.

Funnel Domain

CONNECT THE DOMAIN

If you need to create a new domain or want to connect your funnel to a WordPress site, click here for more information.

If you have already added the domain you want to use, go to the Settings tab and select your domain from the dropdown list. Next, click on Settings > Domains. Click on the Edit icon and select the funnel landing page as the default page for that domain.

Editing Funnel Pages

STEP NAME EDITS

1. Go to Sites > Funnels and select your funnel from the list.

2. Click on the required funnel step and click on the Publishing tab on the right.

3. Update the step name and step path, if required, and press Update Step.

OPENING PAGE EDITOR

1. Go to Sites > Funnels and select your funnel.

2. Click on the Overview tab and click Edit Page to enter the funnel builder.

IMPORTANT: Save your changes regularly by pressing Save in the top right corner.

SEO DATA AND PAGE TITLE

The page title is set to dynamically populate with your location name. If you want the page title to be different or if you want to add additional SEO information (such as description, keywords, author, and social image), click on the SEO Meta Data icon in the top menu bar. After changing/adding the information in the right hand panel, click Update Meta Data in the bottom right corner.

UPDATE PAGE FONTS

If you want to change the fonts used in the design, click on Typography icon in the top menu bar. Choose a headline font and a content font. Click the X to close the window.

CHANGE THE IMAGES

You can use existing images from your media library, upload a new image, or use an image from Pixabay or Unsplash.

1. Click on the image you want to change and click on the Image icon in the left-hand panel under Image Options.

2. Locate the image file in your media library and double click the image to insert to add it to your pages

3. If you need to resize the image, change either the width or the height (but not both) in the left-hand panel under Image Options.

Note: Large images will affect page load time and make your page slow. To optimize page load time, you may need to either resize the original file and/or use a tool such as tinypng.com to compress this image.

BUTTONS

If you want to change the corners of the buttons, click on a button and select the Advanced tab in the panel on the right-hand side. Scroll to corner radius (near the bottom). For square ends, select 0px and for circular ends, select 50px. There are other options such as adding a shadow, adding a border, and adding button animation.

UPDATE THE FOOTER

The page footer is set to dynamically populate with your location name and email address. It is good practice to add a hyperlink to your terms and conditions, privacy policy, and refund policy.

MOBILE VIEW CHANGES

Certain elements on the landing page have been optimized for mobile. At the top of the page, click on the Mobile icon to see if any additional changes need to be made.

Products and Payments

PRODUCTS AND PAYMENTS

If this is a paid offer, you will need to create a product in Payments > Products and connect the product to the Payment Page of your funnel. Click here for more information.

Once everything is complete, you will need to test your funnel. Click here for more information.

Additional Tasks and Optional Extras

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

If you want contact's to agree to your terms and conditions before purchases, you can toggle on Enable Terms and Conditions in the Advanced Settings of the Order Form. Click here for more details about how to enable this.

COOKIE CONSENT (Required for some countries)

Depending on where you operate and where your website visitors are from, as you are collecting data when someone signs up, you may need a cookie notice. Click here for more details about how to add cookie consent to your funnel.

COUNTDOWN TIMER (New feature)

If your program has a set start date, we recommend creating a countdown time in Marketing > Countdown Timer for your event. You can then replace the existing funnels timer and add a countdown to your final emails.

DISCOUNT COUPONS

If you want to offer a discount, such as an early bird offer or a member discount, you can create a coupon in Payments > Coupons. Click here for more details about how to create and use coupons.

SOCIAL MEDIA POSTS

If you want to schedule your promotional posts, go to Marketing > Social Planner. Click here for more details about how to use the Social Planner.

INSTAGRAM LINKS PAGE

Don't forget to update your Instagram links page! Go to Sites > Funnels and select your Instagram Links funnel. Clone an existing button and edit the button text and URL at the bottom of the left hand panel.

SMARTLIST

You could also create a Smartlist in Contacts for people who have joined/signed up for the program or resource. You can either set the filter as the challenge tag or the purchase automations workflow. Click here for more details about how to create a Smartlist.
