Editing a Catalyst Plus Lead Magnet Template
A lead magnet is a marketing term for an item or service that is given away for free for the purpose of gathering contact details and building your mailing list. The most common format of a lead magnet is a PDF, but other examples of lead magnets include quizzes, ebooks, video training, short Coach Catalyst program, summits, webinars, and consultation.
For this tutorial, we will be showing you how to create a lead magnet funnel and automations to send a PDF.
Clone the Form
CLONE THE FORM TEMPLATE
1. Go to Sites > Forms > Builder and locate the template that you wish to clone (such as the Lead Magnet Form).
2. Click the blue drop-down menu on the right of the lead magnet form, and select Copy.
3. Rename the form, select your location and press the green Copy button to clone the form.
EDIT THE FORM
If you want to edit the appearance or wording of any form element, click on the element (such as the button or field) and change the options in the right-hand panel. Press Save Form to finish.

Once the landing page is complete, click on the waffle menu in the top right corner and select the confirmation page to repeat steps 1-3. Note that the confirmation page is a very important space to provide the lead with the next steps (such as following you on social media, finding out more about your services, or joining your latest program).

If part of the automation includes adding a client to Coach Catalyst, you need to use a different email than the one you use to log in to your coach account.
Nurture Campaign
CREATE A NURTURE CAMPAIGN
Follow up your lead magnet download email with a nurture campaign. You create the nurture campaign emails in the Email Builder or write them directly in the workflow as plain emails (remember to include an unsubscribe link). You can then either add this directly to the Lead Magnet Download Workflow or you can create a separate Nurture Campaign Workflow (and link the two workflows together).
Sarah Skraban gave a great talk on the subject of nurture emails during a Coach Catalyst summit (March 2020 Catalyst for Change). You can access the recording of that talk in the Education Portal. Click here for template ideas.
